The context
Frontu is a field service management software that helps businesses manage tasks and processes for the mobile workforce. Previously known as Tasker, they were in need of a new visual identity as well as a new website design. They came to us while I was working as Lead Designer at Hatchly. My task was to re-organise the information from the old site in an easy to navigate way, create wireframes and then design the interface. I was also responsible for designing the visual assets such as illustrations and icons.
The approach
I opted for grays and pastel colours for the background elements in order to make the illustrations and CTAs pop. I used an icon at the beginning of each heading and submenu item to encourage the easy scanning of the site and provide a fast explanation to more the technical terms. For the subpages I used Frontu’s dark blue for the hero section to separate it from the rest of the page and make it look more like an introduction to the page.
You can find out more about the custom illustrations I created for the Frontu website here.
